The Lands Between is full of dangers that will test a player's skill. Healing will be crucial to your survival. This guide will explain all the different ways to heal in Elden Ring.

Use the Flask of Crimson Tears

Flask of Crimson Tears

The fastest way to heal is by consuming a Flask of Crimson Tears. Similar to Estus Flasks from Dark Souls, this method restores HP immediately and is especially handy when in combat, allowing its use even while on horseback.

The number of Flasks held is limited, but they can be restored by resting at a Site of Grace or by defeating enemies.

You can also strengthen the amount of HP restored per flask at a Site of Grace using a Sacred Tear and increase the number of flasks you can use by upgrading it with a Golden Seed.

Use a Raw Meat Dumpling

Elden Ring - Raw Meat Dumpling

If you have a Raw Meat Dumpling, you can use it to restore HP at the cost of fully poisoning the user. We recommend only using this item if you have ran out of flasks and could not find the nearest site of grace in an area.

Site of Grace

You can also heal by finding a Site of Grace and resting there. In addition to getting healed, resting at a Grace will also restore your FP and any status ailments will be healed.

Prophet Heal

Depending upon what spells your character has, you also have the option to heal by reading incantations. If the character class you chose is Prophet, one of your starting spells is Heal.
