What Happens if you Decline Melina's Offer?

She can be Summoned Again

To summon Melina, a prompt Talk to Melina will be added to the blessing menu to call her back and accept her offer.

Everything Melina Can Do

Level Up your Stats

Elden Ring Melina Site of Grace.png

Melina just like the previous Shrine Maidens from past Dark Souls titles, can level up the player's stats at Sites of Grace.

Leveling your stats is a key factor in Elden Ring, as it increases your attack power, defense rating, and allows you to equip certain equipment.

How to Level Up

Takes you to Roundtable Hold

After progressing to a certain extent in the Game, a dialogue with Melina will trigger while resting at a Site of Grace where she will offer to take the Tarnished to Roundtable Hold.

The Roundtable Hold is the equivalent of the Firelink Shrine of Dark Souls or the Nexus in Demon's Souls.

Is Melina a Finger Maiden?

Plays the Role of your Maiden

In previous FromSoftware titles, specifically in the Dark Souls series, Shrine Maiden's were NPCs that assist the player by leveling up their stats. These characters often played a huge role to the story and provided support to the player during their playthrough.

Melina is not technically a Finger Maiden, but she does play the role of your maiden with the condition that you take her to the foot of the Erdtree.

Not your Typical Shrine Maiden

Unlike the Shrine Maidens of old, Melina does not exist solely with the purpose of being a Shrine Maiden but has her own goals and intentions for helping the player.
