Dryleaf Arts is rewarded by Dryleaf Dane after you win a duel against him. To initiate the duel, use the May the Best Win gesture in front of him at Moorth Ruins in Scadu Altus. You can then pick up the weapon nearby after the fight.

The best ashes of war to infuse Dryleaf Arts with are Dryleaf Whirlwind and Palm Blast. Dryleaf Whirlwind works better with a Dryleaf Arts build with status buildup like Bleed or Frost, while Palm Blast is a better choice for pure damage builds with a Quality or Keen affinity.
