Red Bear Location and How to Beat

Red Bear Location

Found in the Northern Nameless Mausoleum

World View	Map Location

Red Bear will spawn in the Northern Nameless Mausoleum. You will have to break the sealing stones on the Temple Town Ruins side of the cliff to unlock the Spiritsprings to jump to where the mausoleum is.

Break the Sealing Stones by the Broken Wall

Head to the northwest side at the base of the cliff where the mausoleum is on and look for the broken wall. You will find the sealing stones right in front of it, clear them, then be able to take Spiritsprings all the way to the top where the mausoleum is.

Gather Levels and Scadutree Fragments

Red Bear is a boss in the Northern Nameless Mausoleum, a location in Gravesite Plain that is only accessible via Spiritspring on the side of the Temple Town Ruins. His boss fight is basically like playing a standard PvP duel, but it's best to stock up on levels and Scadutree Fragments to pad your stats and make the fight even easier.

Apply Frostbite for Burst Damage

Red Bear is susceptible to cold damage, and can be afflicted with Frostbite. Use this to your advantage to burst down his health and slow down his normally fast attacks.

Avoid Accumulating Bleed

Red Bear use fist-type weapons that accumulate Bleed, meaning he can hit you multiple times quickly and build up Bleed rapidly if you aren't careful. So, fight with a longer reach weapon or carefully dodge and counterattack to avoid getting bled to death.

Interrupt or Run From His Roar

Red Bear will sometimes use his gauntlet to summon a self-AoE roar attack with a giant bear head. If you are close, you can normal attack to interrupt the roar. But if you're far, it's better to stay back and wait until the roar attack is over.

Bait Out His Heal

When Red Bear reaches 50% HP or lower, he will attempt to drink from his crimson flask to heal for 25% of his HP. Either take this time to heal yourself, or be aggressive and interrupt his heal, or at least get free damage in.

If he uses his flask once, he will have no more heals for the rest of the fight.
