Manage your Flask Usage

Try not to use your healing flask too much since this is only Phase of the final bossfight. The Second Phase may end up being more difficult for you.

Equip Gear that Boosts your Holy Damage Resistance

Since Radagon primarily deals Holy Damage, it's best to equip gear such as the Haligdrake Talisman to boost your survivability.

Radagon of the Golden Order has Low HP so Stay Aggressive

Despite being a boss, Radagon has a fairly low health pool so try to be aggressive in this fight and look to end it quickly.

Radagon of the Golden Order Delays His Attacks

Radagon will delay many of his attacks to bait you into rolling carelessly. Don't spam your dodges and time them precisely to avoid taking unnecessary damage.

Radagon of the Golden Order Attack Patterns

Melee Attacks

Radagon of the Golden Order is an extremely aggressive boss who'll constantly be trying to close any distance between you. He commonly delays his attacks, making it difficult to find a proper dodge timing immediately.

Melee Attack Variations
Stomp - Radagon - Elden Ring
Stomp: Radagon stomps the ground and creates a small AoE effect. He'll usually do this after a hammer combo. The cast time's fairly quick so you'll need to immediately notice when he lifts his foot. You can roll into the attack or backward.
Dashing Swipe - Radagon - Elden Ring
Dashing Swipe: Radagon closes a great distance and swipes his hammer at you. He'll always start the fight with this move. The range is quite long, so be prepared to dodge into the attack. You can attack him a few times if you successfully do so.
Hammer Shove - Radagon - Elden Ring
Hammer Shove: Radagon shoves his hammer forward. This can knock you back and deals a lot of damage to poise. Roll into the attack or to the side.
Hammer Combos - Radagon - Elden Ring
Hammer Combos: His most common attacks will be hammer swipes and slams. The easiest way to avoid these will be blocking or by rolling sideways.

Holy Attacks

Once you bring Radagon of the Golden Order's health down to around 60%, he'll start using Holy attacks along with his previous melee moveset. He'll deal increased damage and will have more AoE attacks so you'll have to be even more cautious when looking for opportunities to attack.

Holy Attack Variations
Charged Slams - Radagon - Elden Ring
Charged Slams: Radagon charges his hammer and slams it down thrice. Don't try to attack from behind since he can also damage the area around him. If you're caught in the AoE, roll to the side twice, then delay your last roll since his last slam takes longer to charge.
Lightning Arc - Radagon - Elden Ring
Lightning Arc: Radagon launches an arc of 5 bolts at you. You can telegraph this attack to when he pulls his left arm back and it's lighting up. Roll to the side to dodge these.
Teleport - Radagon - Elden Ring
Teleport: Radagon teleports a short distance and creates a lightning blast in the area where he reappears. Rolling backward will be enough to evade this. If you're locked-on, you can still track him which will make your roll timing easier.
Leaping Holy Strike - Radagon - Elden Ring
Leaping Holy Strike: Radagon leaps sideways then slams the ground, exploding the area around him. This also creates an aftershock. Back away and time your roll to the moment he strikes the ground. Rolling as he's in the air can cause you to get hit since the explosion doesn't immediately take effect when he lands.
Holy Stomp - Radagon - Elden Ring
Holy Stomp: This is similar to his regular Stomp attack, but has a larger AoE and deals more damage. The process for avoiding it is similar, however, and it's easier to telegraph since his foot will start glowing.
Diving Holy Slam - Radagon - Elden Ring
Diving Holy Slam: Radagon jumps and charges up a heavy slam. Dodge the moment he starts his dive at you. He'll always start off with a combo of a Holy Stomp and this attack once you bring his health down to 60%.
Lightning Spear - Radagon - Elden Ring
Lightning Spear: Radagon conjures a lightning bolt and throws it at you. Roll before he throws it since it has a small AoE effect that can still hit you even if you dodge the bolt itself.
