Magma Wyrm (Gael Tunnel)	Rec. Lvl.: 70+ Location: Gael Tunnel Where to Find: Dungeon boss found at the end of Gael Tunnel in Caelid.
Magma Wyrm (Fort Laeidd)	Rec. Lvl.: 70+ Location: Fort Laeidd Where to Find: Found in a lava lake directly south of Fort Laeidd.
Magma Wyrm (Volcano Manor)	Rec. Lvl.: 70+ Location: Under the Temple of Eiglay in Volcano Manor Where to Find: Found after taking a cage elevator to the bottom of the lava lake in Volcano Manor.
Magma Wyrm (Dragon's Pit)	Rec. Lvl.: 150+ Location: Dragon's Pit Where to Find: (DLC Only) Found in a large cavern inside the Dragon's Pit dungeon. After reaching the lower end of the dungeon with the large set of stairs, go up instead of down to find the wyrm.

Increase your Fire Resistance

Wait for the Flame Charge to Finish

Summon Spirit Ashes At the Start of the Fight

Spirit Ashes can be summoned during your battles against any Magma Wyrms in the game. These will provide an additional source of damage output while also making the Magma Wyrms' attention be focused on your summon instead.

Increase your Fire Resistance

Increasing your Fire Resistance will help with these boss encounters since the Magma Wyrm's magma attacks often dish out massive amounts of tick damage when stepped on.

Equip Fire Resistance boosting talismans like the Flamedrake Talisman or consume Fireproof Dried Livers to boost your Fire Negation. Equipping armor with a high Fire Resist stat (like the Fire Prelate Armor) can also help in a pinch.

Use Poison, Scarlet Rot, and/or Bleed

Utilizing weapons, sorceries, or incantations that can apply Bleed, Poison, or Scarlet Rot will prove effective as Magma Wyrms only have medium resistance to these status ailments. Try not to go for Frostbite procs since they have a high resistance to it (i.e., it takes longer to proc than the other 3).

Dodge Sidways or Into Magma Wyrm's Attacks

Most of Magma Wyrm's attacks are easily telegraphed and most of its attacks also consist of projectiles that shoot outward from the wyrm. Avoid most of the wyrm's attacks by dodge rolling inward or sideways as this guarantees more safety from its attacks while also providing you a window to attack the wyrm.

Wait for the Flame Charge to Finish Before Counter Attacking

The Flame Charge attack causes the Magma Wyrm to move fast while also leaving magma on the ground. Avoid trying to counter attack during this move and instead, wait for it to finish before attacking as the lingering magma on the ground may damage you instead.
