Where to Find Godefroy the Grafted

Godefroy the Grafted can be found at the Golden Lineage Evergaol. This is extremely near the Grand Lift of Dectus, so you can go here immediately once you reach Altus Plateau.

When to Fight Godefroy the Grafted

This boss is very similar to Godrick the Grafted as he uses many of the same moves and combos. Your prior experience will make this fight very doable, so you can take him on anytime after entering Altus Plateau.

Attack Godefroy the Grafted from behind

While Godefroy's attacks affect a wide AoE, he doesn't have any form of protection from behind. Once you're able to circle around him or roll through his attacks, attacking him from behind will be highly effective and safe.

Bait out Godefroy the Grafted's jumping attacks

If you stay midrange or further from him, Godefroy will start using leaping or jumping attacks on you to close any distance. These are easy to dodge and are great openings since he'll take a while to recover from them. After successfully avoiding the attack, start striking him repeatedly to deal significant damage.

Avoid using Holy attacks

Holy weapons or Incantations will not be effective against Godefroy due to his high resistance to this effect.

Exploit Godefroy the Grafted's weaknesses

Godefroy is vulnerable to most physical damage types so any melee weapon will be effective against him. You can further add to your damage by using Bleed weapons since you can build up this Status Effect quickly and take out chunks of his health.

If you don't have any Bleed weapons, you can also coat yours in Blood Grease instead.
