Jagged Peak Map and Location Guide

Jagged Peak is an area in the Southern Shore region of the Realm of Shadow in the Elden Ring DLC Shadow of the Erdtree. Here's our guide on the equipment, bosses, NPCs, and the Dragon Form item found in the area.

How to Get to Jagged Peak

The Jagged Peaks is an area you can access by passing through the Dragon Pit cave.

Use the north path when you get to the fork with the dragons in the Foot of the Jagged Peak, use the spiritspring to go further, and cross the bridge to reach the Foot of the Jagged Peak Site of Grace.

Fortunately, this area is quite linear and easy to navigate. As you follow the path, you will eventually reach Jagged Peak, as well its summit.

Rock Heart

The Rock Heart is a reward for completing the Domain of Dragons Painting puzzle.

After getting the painting, head to the Jagged Peak Mountainside grace, follow the path up and jump from the first spirit spring. Cross the gap, then fall to the area to the right and head to the cliff to reach the painter's spirit.

The painting can be obtained in a hidden path in Shadow Keep.

From the Storehouse, First Floor Grace, head down the lift and turn left after the stairs. Go down the ladder and pass through the water to reach the painting.

One of the walls in the room with the painting has an illusory wall that eventually leads to the Abyssal Woods. This is not, however, related to the painting.

Enables Dragon Form and Boosts Dragon Communion Incantations

The Rock Heart is a reusable item with infinite uses that turns the tarnished into an ancient dragon.

Dragon Communion Incantations are boosted while in this dragon form.

Note that you may only use this item when not wearing any armor, and it cannot be reverted unless the tarnished dies.

This Scadutree Fragment can be obtained at the end of the inclined path where boulders drop before you reach the first Jagged Peaks Site of Grace.

Somber Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone

The first stone is obtained by defeating the Ancient Dragon Senessax.

To reach the second stone, proceed normally to the peak from the Jagged Peak Mountainside grace.

At the second spiritspring, head to left to where several packs of slimed are. This short path leads to the smithing stone.

This item is offered in the Dragon Communion to unlock one of two incantations.

You can exchange this item for Bayle's Tyranny, or Bayle's Flame Lightning.

Jagged Peak NPCs and Quests

Igon

Igon is an NPC you first encounter near the Pillar Path Waypoints. You will again encounter him at the Foot of the Jagged Peak.

As you progress his quest, you may eventually call him as a co-op summon to help you defeat the boss of this area and complete his quest.
