Note: The Moonrithyll's Knight Sword is only available if you own the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. |
Moonrithyll's Knight Sword is dropped by the hostile NPC, Moonrithyll, Carian Knight, midway through Castle Ensis in Gravesite Plain. The nearest site of grace is the Castle Ensis Checkpoint, after you open the large gate next to it. Defeat Moonrithyll to get his weapon.
1 | From the Castle Front site of grace, run up to Castle Ensis and climb the stairs next to the Troll Knight. Follow this path until you reach an area with a Black Knight. Here you'll find one of Miquella's crosses as well as the Castle Ensis Checkpoint site of grace. |

2 | From the Castle Ensis Checkpoint site of grace, face south (where you see a Messmer Soldier kneeling) and drop down into the hole with dog enemies at the bottom. |
3 | After dealing with the dogs, exit the small cave and run along the cliffs, platforming along the waterfall until you reach a watery area with turtles milling about. |
4 | Pass under the arch directly in front of you and look northwest to see a ladder. Use it to climb back up to Castle Ensis. |
5 | At the top, a Foot Soldier and Messmer Soldier will be waiting for you. Deal with them and exit the room using the doorway to your west. As soon as you exit, go to the room directly in front of you and use the contraption inside to open the gate leading back to the Castle Ensis Checkpoint site of grace. |
6 | After opening the gate, exit the room and turn right (east). Go up the stairs and follow this wide highway to the end in order to reach the area guarded by Moonrithyll, Carian Knight. Along the way, you will be attacked by Messmer Soldiers, a dog, as well as mages. |
7 | Fight Moonrithyll, Carian Knight in front of the large structure leading to the battlements of Castle Ensis. Defeat him to get the Moonrithyll's Knight Sword. |
