Brick Hammer Playstyle: Using this weapon favors two-handing it and it has a B scaling in Strength even when not upgraded. Jumping R2s will stagger or outright one-shot many early game enemies, especially when buffed with Barbaric Roar. However, its range is shorter than a greatsword, and will require more up-close combat.

Grafted Blade Greatsword Playstyle: Using this weapon favors two-handing it and it has an C scaling in Strength when not upgraded. However, its skill, Oath of Vengeance, makes up for its rather low scaling by temporarily raising all attributes and Poise. This makes this a very good early game weapon and its long reach and sweeping attacks can take out groups of enemies that are clumped together. However, this weapon will eventually be outclassed in the late game by other Strength weapons.

Greatsword Playstyle: Using this weapon favors two-handing the Greatsword and leveling strength as far as you are willing to go. For defense and poise, use heavy armor (choice of armor may vary, but the armor listed above offers solid stats). Use jump attacks, charged R2 attacks and the Lion's Claw weapon art to stagger bosses quickly. Also crouching and using R1 for a fast poke with great range is recommended, especially in PvP.

Dual-wield Halberds Playstyle: Both of these halberds have an S scaling in Strength at +25, so dual-wielding them with a high strength stat is recommended. The jumping L1 attack deals high damage and can stagger larger enemies and bosses in a few hits. Loretta's Slash is great for both bosses or doing crowd control. Piercing Fang is a good choice against enemies with shields and this is especially useful in PvP against Greatshield builds.

Heavy Rotten Greataxe Playstyle: This weapon has a B scaling in Strength with an Attack Power of 831 while two-handed at +24. Not only that, but it has a passive Scarlet Rot buildup of 65 making it a great choice against bosses that can be inflicted by this status ailment.

Use this weapon's jump attacks and charged attacks deal high poise damage while pressuring the enemy with Scarlet Rot. The Ash of War Eruption is especially useful as it leaves a lava pool on the ground and, if compounded with Scarlet Rot, will deal high damage. This may lead to an opening for follow up attacks as well

Bloodhound's Fang Playstyle: This weapon has a C scaling Strength and a B Dexterity at max rank and can be wielded either one-handed or two-handed. It's skill, Bloodhound's Finesse, can be used as a dodge and gap closer, with invisibility before the gap closer. This can throw off some players in PvP due to the invisibility.

If used with a shield with No Skill, then Bloodhound's Finesse can be cast normally while still keeping defenses up.

Zamor Curved Sword Playstyle: This weapon has a C scaling Strength and a B Dexterity at max rank and can be wielded either one-handed or two-handed. It's skill, Zamor Ice Storm, deals high Poise damage and be used to stagger enemies. In PvP, this can be used to interrupt players using Bloodhound's Step, making them unable to get away or gap close.

It also has frost build up, so pairing this with another weapon with blood loss is an effective combo to burst enemies.

Claymore Playstyle: This weapon has B scaling in both Strength and Dexterity at max rank if infused with the Quality attribute. The Ashes of War for this weapon is very flexible, with Bloodhound's Step good for mobility or Seppuku for more burst damage.

Spear and Shield Playstyle: The Clayman's Harpoon has a C scaling in both Strength and Intelligence if infused with Cold, Poison, or Blood. Paired with the Fingerprint Stone Shield, attacks can be done safely behind it due to its very high Guard Boost and defenses. This can further be reinforced by casting Scholar's Shield on the shield with a scepter.

If infused with Cold, the Clayman's Harpoon will receive frostbite build up, making it also a weapon that is capable of bursting. Using Glintstone Pebble is also a good source of poke against enemies and in PvP there are very few other weapons that will be able to penetrate through the Fingerprint Stone Shield.

Fallingstar Beast Jaw Playstyle: This weapon has a C scaling in Strength and a D scaling in Intelligence and is recommended to be wielded two-handed. While its attacks are slow, its weapon skill more than makes up for it in PvE and in certain cases in PvP.

Gravity Bolt will send a bolt crashing on an enemy, dealing both physical and magic damage, which takes scaling from both Strength and Intelligence. This makes this skill good for bosses in PvE, and also requires enemies to dodge well in PvP.

In Invasions, the weapon skill can be used to pick off enemy players that are further away.

Starscourge Greatswords Playstyle: This weapon has a B scaling in Strength and a D scaling in Intelligence and is recommended to be wielded two-handed (which will result in dual-wielding two swords like how Radahn uses them).

Light and jumping R1 attacks are recommended to be used as opposed to charged or R2 attacks as only one sword will be used as opposed to two, making them deal less damage.

Its skill, Starcaller Cry, can be used to deal with groups of enemies both in PvE and PvP. The first instance of the skill will deal magic damage, while the follow-up slam will deal a mix of physical and magic damage.

Royal Greatsword Weight: 20	Wolf's Assault	-

Royal Greatsword Playstyle: This weapon has a C scaling in both Strength and Intelligence and is recommended to be wielded two-handed.

Rolling R1 or crouch R1 is very useful in 1v1 duels in PvP because of its speed, while Wolf's Assault is good for keeping players separated and can potentially one-shot low Vigor players.

In PvE, the knockback and burst of Wolf's Assault can take out groups of enemies. The skill itself has frostbite buildup and several casts can trigger it quickly.

Meteoric Ore Blade Playstyle: This weapon has a C scaling in both Strength and Intelligence and can be wielded two-handed, paired with a staff and some spells, or with a shield.

Gravitas not only deals damage but pull enemies in, which is useful for interrupting players in PvP and also for bringing in groups of enemies in PvE.

This weapon also has a different R2 than other Katanas, it has a powerful downward swing that can break stances and also roll-catch if an enemy player panic rolls out of Gravitas.

Maliketh's Black Blade Playstyle: This weapon has a B scaling in both Strength and Faith at max rank.

Rolling R1s or crouch R1s are useful in PvP due to its speed and potential for roll catching. Its skill, Destined Death, is useful against enemies in PvE due to the health burn but unfortunately is not very useful in PvP due to its slow windup between stages. However, both Strength and Faith improve the overall damage of this weapon skill.

Destined Death can be used to break up groups of enemies and also prevent them from coming closer.

Envoy's Long Horn Weight: 22	Bubble Shower	-

Envoy's Long Horn Playstyle: This weapon has a C scaling in Strength and a B scaling in Faith at max rank and can be wielded either one-handed and paired with another weapon or two-handed.

Bubble Shower is deceptively strong and can shred a boss's HP bar due to each bubble have their own instances of damage. This is especially potent against large bosses because they will be hit by most if not all the bubbles.

Using Bubble Shower in PvP is a little trickier since enemies can dodge the bubbles, but they can be used to stop enemies attempting to close the gap or as a distraction before following up with a rolling R1 or a jumping attack. Casting the skill also gives some hyperarmor, making it difficult to interrupt.

Sword and Shield Playstyle: This weapon has a C scaling in Strength and a B scaling in Faith at max rank and can be wielded either two-handed or with a shield.

Paired with the Fingerprint Stone Shield with No Skill, the sword's weapon art is capable of knocking down enemies when it hits and also steals their life. This provides both sustain and excellent defenses due to the shield's high guard boost.

Both normals attacks and the weapon skill deal fire damage, which can be buffed with spells like Golden Vow and Flame, Grant Me Strength.

Magma Wyrm's Scalesword Playstyle: This weapon has a B scaling in both Strength and Faith at max rank and is recommended to be wielded with one hand to extend its range.

Its skill, Magma Guillotine can take down small clusters of enemies and cannot be interrupted by any means. This means even in PvP its very useful since the slam and the AoE are guaranteed and will be dangerous for any enemies who attempt to trade blows.

Dual Whips Playstyle: This weapon has a B scaling in both Strength and Faith at max rank. The whips can be powerstanced with L1, with both normal and jumping attacks useful with the added fire damage.

Flame Dance can be used to take out groups of enemies in PvE and also to damage enemies from range in PvP.

Spear and Shield Playstyle: This weapon has a C scaling in both Strength and Arcane at max rank and is recommended to be paired with a sturdy shield. Attacks can be safely made behind the shield so defenses are not compromised, and almost no damage will be taken due to Fingerprint Stone Shield's guard boost.

Bloodboon Ritual can be used to take out large groups of enemies in PvE due to its damage and blood loss buildup. This can also be used in PvP as its incredibly difficult to dodge the skill and can be spammed up to three times.

Marais Executioner's Sword Weight: 11.5	Eochaid's Dancing Blade	-

Marais Executioner's Sword Playstyle: This weapon has a B scaling in Strength and a D scaling in Arcane and is recommended to be wielded two-handed. While its normal attacks aren't anything special, its the weapon skill that makes it stand out.

Eochaid's Dancing Blade is a ranged attack that can be charged for more range and increase the duration of its spins. It also scales with total attack power, so anything to increase that will make this skill deal more damage. Having Armor that gives high Poise will make it difficult for the skill to be canceled by enemy attacks.

The skill is most useful against large, slow bosses, and is also a good tool in PvP for keeping players away and can be cancelled early for a dodge roll and follow-up attack to throw enemy players off.

Dual Twinblades Playstyle: This weapon has a B scaling in Strength and a D scaling in Arcane if infused with the Blood attribute. Though its the shortest Twinblade, it has 100 blood loss buildup and high Strength scaling more than makes up for it. Hemorrhage can be triggered quickly with jumping attacks, and it can be infused with different Ashes of War.

Powerstancing (L1) with these Twinblades deals a lot of damage in addition to building blood loss quickly for burst and is effective both in PvP and PvE.

Greatsword Playstyle: This weapon has a B scaling in Strength and a D scaling in Arcane if infused with the Blood attribute. With 120 blood loss buildup, Hemorrhage can be triggered quickly in both PvE and PvP enemies.

Rolling or crouching R1s can be used to attack quickly as well as jumping attacks. Ashes of War are largely flexible and can depend upon player preference.

Grave Scythe Weight: 9.5	Bloodhound's Step	Double Slash

Grave Scythe Playstyle: This weapon has a C scaling in Strength and a D scaling in Arcane if infused with the Blood attribute. This will give the weapon 100 blood loss buildup, which will trigger Hemorrhage on targets in about 3-4 hits.

In PvP, its reach can roll catch enemy players and its property of bypassing a certain percentage of an enemy's blocks makes this very useful against shields.

In PvE, this can be very powerful against enemies that are weak to blood loss, but mediocre when against those that are immune.
