Is Elden Ring DLC Preload Available?

Preload Available Starting June 19 for Playstation

Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree Official Global Release Timings Map

The official Elden Ring account on X.com (formerly Twitter) has announced that preload will be available 48 hours prior to launch for Playstation. This will allow Playstation Users to download the game two days before the launch and be able to access the DLC instantly on release without the need for downloading the DLC on release day.

No Preload Available for PC and Xbox

There will not be any preload options for PC and Xbox. The DLC download for any non-Playstation platforms will be available upon each respective region's launch time.

How to Preload on PS5

Pre-Order the Game on Playstation Store

Elden Ring Playstation Preload

To Pre-Order the game, head to the Playstation Store and purchase the DLC.

Preload by June 19

Once the Preload option is available by June 19, 12:00PM EDT, choose to preload the game from the store page.

Play the Game On Launch

When the game launches on its official release day, choose to play the game. This will allow you to play the game on launch as the necessary files (or the majority of the files) have already been downloaded ahead of the game's release.
