How to Use Lhutel the Headless

A Tanky and Evasive Summon

Lhutel the Headless is one of the tankiest spirit ash summons in the game thanks to her greatshield and heavy armor, which lets her withstand strong attacks from powerful bosses when fully upgraded.

What makes her particularly effective as a tank is her ability to teleport, which she does instead of running or evading. As long as Lhutel is teleporting, she is completely immune to attacks.

Best Used Against Aggressive Bosses

Lhutel's ability to teleport and her mix of ranged and close-quarters attacks make her a great tank against aggressive bosses, such as Malenia, Blade of Miquella. As Lhutel is invulnerable while teleporting, Malenia will not heal from her attacks when targeting her.

The headless knight is also useful against bosses that have large AOE attacks, such as the dragons and Radagon of the Golden Order as she can often completely evade their attacks while still keeping aggro.

Has Low Attacking Capabilities

Lhutel is an exceptional tank but her attacks, while varied, are not as strong as the other Legendary Spirit Ashes and even normal spirit ashes like the Banished Knights Oleg and Engvall.

When summoning Lhutel, it's important to remember that her main role is to take hits. Use the opportunity while she's holding the boss' aggro to attack the boss with your most powerful attacks.
