"One of the glintstone sorceries that manipulates gravitational forces. Pulls a clump of rocks from the earth and sends them flying. This sorcery can be cast while in motion. A gravitational technique studied by young Radahn. His master was an Alabaster Lord with skin of stone." |
Rock Sling is a sorcery spell that allows the caster to pull clumps of rock from the earth and send them flying towards their enemies and can be cast while in motion. It is one of the best spells to have early in the game as it deals a good amount of damage, has a high chance to stagger enemies, and is relatively easy to obtain.
It also does not require a lot of points in your intelligence stat, making it very accessible to use early in the game. However, the spell takes a while to cast. Distractions such as spirit ashes or a co-op friend are recommended when using this spell to avoid interruption.

Rock Sling can be obtained by going to the Street of Sages Ruins in Caelid. Fast Travel to the Aeonia Swamp Shore Site of Grace and head northwest of the ruins. Inside one of the ruins will be a stairwell down to a basement. Open the chest to obtain the spell.
If you haven't been to Caelid and want to get there fast, you can travel to the Dragon-Burnt Ruins. Underneath the Ruins will be a trapped chest that will teleport you to Sellia Crystal Tunnel in Caelid.
List of All Status Effects and How to Cure
Rock Sling is best used against huge opponents as you'll have an easier time hitting all 3 of your rocks, maximizing your damage and giving you a high chance to them stagger as a result.
Rock Sling is best used in open areas where there isn't much structure or objects that can collide with your Rock Sling.
It's best to position yourself up on a slope whenever you're using Rock Sling so that it can travel a further distance away from your intended target.
Rock Sling should be cast using the Meteorite Staff, a staff that boosts gravity sorcery and can be found close to where you can get the spell.
It's located southwest of Sellia, Town of Sorcery at Swamp of Aeonia in Caelid.
