If you have furina or kokomi and are also bad at dodging then a c1 (not required) dehya with the bell can double as a tank/shield and a vape damage dealer or sub dps if your hydro is on field (Use vourukasha for on field dehya and noblesse or tenacity for off-field) Do be warned as only specifically characters who don't require a normal attack to activate their hydro application will be applicable to dehya (basically just means no xingqiu yelan or Candace in terms of sub dps's)

Also, "Starting from Version 5.0, which will be released on August 28, 2024, players will be able to select one 5-Star Character from the Wanderlust Invocation Standard Banner every anniversary version for free!" sounds like we'll get the selector right away, I highly doubt it's just for one day tho, probably at least for the Anniversary's duration.
Yeah, no need to use wishes for this, it should be a selector where you pick a Standard 5* character you want. Those people saving Intertwines for 5.0 are probably pulling for Limited 5* characters like Mualani and Kazuha.
Well, no date was set. They only said that it will be in the beginning of version 5.0.
