How to Play Moonlight Seeker

Ask Linyang for Clues

Talk to Linyang in Liyue Harbor and pick one of the paths to explore. You can also ask her for location clues, which will reveal the locations of some Moonchase Charms and Mystmoon Chests.

You can only ask Linyang for clues in a certain area once per day. If you're having trouble in one area, however, you can still ask her about the same area the next day for more clues!

Collect Moonchase Charms and Mystmoon Chests

Collect Moonchase Charms and open Mystmoon Chests to increase your Area Collection Progress and win rewards! Each Mystmoon Chest will also give you Primogems upon opening!

How to Use Moonchase Charms

Moonchase Charms are collectible items like the oculi that you collect in each region. So far, they have no use outside of the Moonlight Seeker part of the Moonlight Merriment event.

Mystmoon Chests

Open to Get Rewards

Mystmoon Chests are Treasure Chests available exclusively during the Moonlight Merriment event. Opening a Mystmoon Chest will grant 5 Primogems and various rewards such as Talent Level Up Materials!

Beware of enemies

Some Mystmoon Chests will become locked and spawn enemies once you approach them. Defeat the enemies to unlock and open the Mystmoon Chest!

The enemies can range fromSlimes, Cryo Cicin Mages, Electro Cicin Mages, to Fatui Pyro Agents.
