The Current Scribe of Akademiya

Alhaitham is officially known as The Scribe of the Akademiya and is infamous for his stern rationality and nimbleness, for people seem to have difficulty getting ahold of him.

As the Scribe, Alhaitham gets access on resources that are far and beyond a normal scholar's grasp, thereby making his post an important one—proven in his significance in the ploy against the former Sages of the Akademiya.

The Acting Grand Sage of Akademiya

From the time that Azar was overthrown from his sageship, Alhaitham, being the most capable scholar in the Akademiya, was unoffcially delegated as its Acting Grand Sage. Although this position is too aggrandized to his liking, the Akademiyan beauracy seem to have been so strong, even Alhaitham failed to avoid it.

A Scholar From the Haravatat Darshan

Alhaitham is from the Haravatat Darshan, the Akademiyan school dedicated to the study of ancient linguistics and semiotics. While it's yet to be confirmed, Alhaitham is assumed to have mastered at least 20 types of scripts, with that of King Deshret's, included.

Being a scholar from this Darshan is fitting and apt to someone like Alhaitham with his position as the Scribe. Faruzan is also from the same Darshan as him.

Kaveh's Roommate

For reasons unknown except that of the construction of the Palace of Alcazarzaray, Kaveh became Alhaitham's roommate—which seemed to have conceived a number of arguments between the two men. Their arguments even reached the bulletin boards of the Mahamatra.

While it's clear that they don't hate each other, Alhaitham and Kaveh share a bond similar to that of a cat's and a dog's.
