Rainforest Creature Day 1 Locations

Shaggy Sumpter Beast and Shroomboar Snapshots Location

Location	Gandharva Ville, Sumeru

Shares One Location

The Shaggy Sumpter Beast and the Shroomboar share one location. You can grab an image of either Sumeru Animals there, even if the prompt is specific for the type of animal.

Spinocrocodile Snapshots Location

Location	Vissudha Field, Sumeru

Located Below the Water Falls

The Spinocrocodiles are located below the water falls. There are various edges around the area that you can get a clear shot of the Spinocrocodiles from above. Avoid heading inside the area or else they will attack you!

Rishboland Tiger Snapshots Location

Location	Gandha Hill, Sumeru

Can Be Seen on the Road or On Trees

Follow the location indicator until you are near the area, your mini-map will show a scope of where the Rishboland Tigers are. Head near the center, and you'll see the animals either roaming around or on the lower branched trees.

Avoid getting too close to the Rishboland Tigers, or they will attack you!

Dusk Bird Snapshots Location

Location	Chatrakam Cave, Sumeru

Not Specified But Included

The event locations doesn't specifiy the Dusk Bird but you can still grab an image of it and the event will register it as an entry! The easiest place to find a Dusk Bird is near the Steeple of Ignorance Talent Domain. The dusk bird will be up a tree towards the left.

Grab a Picture of the Animal on the Prompt

The event will specify what type of Sumeru Rainforest Creature you need to take a photo of once you reach the area. It will show up as a text telling you that the area is near!

You can also see the specific animal on the map if you tap on the Kamera Location Marker for it.

Grab Any Image For Identification

The image you take will turn up different on the image bank in the events' menu, taking an image is a way for the Exquisite Kamera to recognize what Sumeru Animal you're pointing it on!

Take a Picture From a Distance

Keep your distance from the animals when taking pictures, because some of them will attack you if you get close! You won't be able to use the Exquisite Kamera while you're under attack.

The Spinocrocodile and the Rishboland will attack you as soon as you get too close. If you happen to attack a Sumpter Beast, they will retaliate. So, take a photo from afar like a Wildlife Photographer!

Bring Aloy with You

Aloy

However, if you want to grab a photo up close, you can bring Aloy with you. Her talent, Easy Does It won't startle animals that drop Fowl, Raw Meat, or Chilled Meat as you approach making it easy to take photos!
