In this challenge, you must trigger a lot of Swirls to complete the objectives. Venti is the best character to use here as he can both trigger Swirls and gather all enemies with his Elemental Burst.
Ganyu is also extremely useful as she can deal a lot of AoE damage, while Mona can buff Ganyu's already strong damage output.

The challenge prioritizes Swirl reactions and Freeze reactions are the most useful in this challenge. Be sure to have a crowd control character in the party like Venti, Sucrose, or Kazuha.
You can use Pyro characters like Xiangling or Bennett if you're having a hard time dealing with the Cryo Cicin Mage.
How to Beat Scatter, Flaming Feathers!
Use Crowd Control Skills or Bursts
Characters like Venti, Sucrose, or Kazuha have skills that don't only trigger Swirls, but they can also gather all enemies using their Elemental Bursts or Skills. If you have any of these three characters, put them in your party.
Use Frozen to Immobilize Enemies
The Frozen reaction is very useful in this challenge since it's a great compliment to the Swirl reaction. Swirls can help you spread the Hydro and Cryo element to enemies which makes Freezing mobs a lot easier.
Take Out the Cryo Cicin Mage and Mirror Maiden
In the Dire Straits challenge, prioritize on taking out the Cryo Cicin Mage and the Mirror Maiden as soon as possible. The Cryo Cicin Mage will create a Cryo shield when left unattended, so defeat them before they can bring it out.
Use a combination of crowd control bursts and Frozen reactions to keep them in place to make the fight less tedious.

When characters trigger 15 Swirl reactions, you will gain Afterimaged Might: DMG dealt by all party members is increased by 75% for 4s, and they will drop Elemental Particle(s) that will restore 6 Energy for the character. This effect can occur once every 4s. 1 Swirl reaction will be counted as part of this effect every 1s. You will encounter powerful opponents after obtaining Afterimaged Might. |

Scatter, Flaming Feathers! is the fourth battle stage in the Hidden Strife Event. You need to beat the Fatui, Treasure Hoarders, and Mirror Maiden. You can do this challenge after defeating the third stage, Blazing Thunder!
