This site's guides for the Theater Mechanicus are the best I found. Thanks! Electro really seems the best overall. When I do not get the Electro ban, everything becomes trivial because they zap everything so quickly. Frozen enemies cannot move, but dead enemies cannot move either...
This did nothing for the final stage, every singe one of the pricks made it through. I got like every card except any of the slowing ones. Seems it is key to this solution given 3 times and I never saw it time to find another solution. I notice none of the new or alt towers are used in any of these tuts.
what about portal 2?
you can still use hydro towers even if the sticks to upgrade them are banned
variation 2 doesn’t have hydro towers but the guide says to put cyro and hydro towers? doesn’t really make sense to me
if you keep getting Electro ban this is strat is still mostly viable. Just switch out the center Towers on path 1-2 with Pyro. Then select pyro bonuses. You can also put out Charity towers in front of both the paths and buff there aoe as well for the spd decrease. Sucrose helps alot with this set up.
There are multiple scenarios, with different bans/enemy groups, which are chosen randomly at the start of the stage. You can tell which one you're on by looking at the banned upgrades on the loading screen before the stage starts. If it's not the one you want, just restart and try again.
This level doesn't have any electro upgrades, and the listed enemies aren't consistent with my rounds.
The guards left the portal and basically got one shot. That was amazing to see lol. 7 forest gump mitachurls managed to escape in the previous wave but that's the only bad thing that happened xD thaaanks
The disabled upgrades are randomized. If there's no electro upgrades, then restart the challenge
This was soo fun legit one shot everything!
At least one of the enemy patterns has no electro upgrades, which I only realized after putting down all the electro towers. Converted them to other setups and almost made it through anyway, but the setback was too much. So be sure to check in advance
