Prioritize Greater Collections when turning in Grim Favors at the Tree of Whispers in Diablo 4 (D4) to maximize the rewards you get. Learn more about the best rewards from Whispers of the Dead and find out which collections to choose!

We highly recommend prioritizing Greater Collection Grand Caches above other choices as they always reward a guaranteed Legendary item when opened. While these Caches might not always appear for the slot you want, the Legendary Aspects inside may just be what you need to complete your build.
We only recommend picking Normal Grand Caches if there's no other choice in your selection of rewards. While they may not provide as many items or have a guaranteed Legendary, regular caches still reward you with a solid amount of gear, Gems, Gold, Upgrade Materials, and even Nightmare Sigils (in World Tier 3).
How to Complete the Tree of Whispers
To get rewards at the Tree of Whispers, you need to earn 10 Grim Favors from completing Whispers of the Dead bounties around the map. After earning enough Grim Favors, return to the Tree and turn in the the Favors to receive your choice of one of three Grand Caches.
