| 1 |  Head to Moonview Arena, next to the Summit Camp in the Coronet Highlands after accepting the Mission The Plate of Moonview Arena. |
| 2 | Near the Summit Camp, talk to Melli, watch a quick cutscene, and prepare to battle Cresselia! Bug as of Version 1.0.2: It is a must to talk to Melli first before catching Cresselia. Catching Cresselia without talking to Melli can potentially soft-lock your game, making you unable to complete the Mission. |
| 3 |  Right at the start of battle, Cresselia will cast a confusion spell to the player, consequently reversing your movement controls. If there are spirals over the player's head, prepare to move oppositely to go where you intend to be. |
| 4 |  Cancel out Cresselia's confusion spell by throwing a Poke Ball to the force field that surrounds it. Once the force field has vanished, send out a Pokemon by throwing a Poke Ball directly at Cresselia and commence battle! |
| 5 |  Take advantage of Cresselia's weaknesses to Bug, Ghost, and Dark type moves. Paralyzing or putting Cresselia to sleep is also recommended once weakened to make catching it easier! |
