How to Unlock Playing With Drifloon

This request will become available after catching or entering into battle with a Drifloon and adding it to your Pokedex after getting the main quest, A Request from Mai.

Obsidian Fieldlands

You can encounter Drifloon in the Obsidian Fieldlands, some roam close to the Fieldlands Camp around Aspiration Hill. However, they only come out during the evening and nightfall.

Playing With Drifloon Walkthrough

Mission Objectives

Steps to proceed through Playing With Drifloon
1	Head into Galaxy Hall and read the blackboard to find out about the request.
2	Talk to Miki on the south side of Jubilife Village, near the south village gate.
3	Wait until the evening for Drifloon to appear. You can rest at your Quarters to wait until the evening.
4	Head to Prelude Beach and help the boy escape from Drifloon.
5	Return to Miki and report your findings to complete the request.

Where to Find Prelude Beach

Prelude Beach is located to the south of Jubilife Village, and it is where Professor Laventon finds your character at the start of the game. Once you arrive at the area in the evening, you can find Drifloon and the boy behind the small hut.

If you toggle on quest markers for this request, you will not see the marker for Drifloon's location until the evening.
