Drowsy

Drowsy replaces the Sleep status condition from the previous Pokemon games. When a Pokemon is Drowsy, they may fail to act on their turn and all damage they receive is increased. A Drowsy Pokemon is also easier to catch much more than paralyzing, poisoning, or burning it, so be sure to use Hypnosis or similar Status Moves when capturing a Pokemon in battle.

In addition, if the battle takes place on a snowy weather, there is a chance that a Drowsy Pokemon may miss a move.

Wild Pokemon can also inflict this status condition on the player character. When this occurs, the trainer will walk slowly and becomes immobile for a few seconds, making them vulnerable to the wild Pokemon's attacks.

All Hidden Status Conditions

The following are status conditions that are not listed on your Pokemon's HP bar during battle. These status conditions can occur simultaneously with any of the 5 status conditions listed above.

List of All Hidden Status Conditions
  1. Unaware
  2. Obscured
  3. Hard-Hitting Stance
  4. Fixated
  5. Wild Might
  6. Enraged
  7. Jagged Splinters

Unaware

Pokemon Legends Arceus - Unaware Status Condition
A wild Pokemon with the Unaware status condition has a small chance of being unable to perform a move, similar to the Paralyze status condition. In addition, its speed is reduced, allowing you to make the first move in battle.

You can inflict the Unaware status condition on a wild Pokemon before a battle by performing a Back Strike. This also increases their catch rate as long as the Pokemon remains unaware on their turn.

Obscured

An Obscured Pokemon has its evasion boosted, raising the chances of the Pokemon evading an opponent's moves. The Mud Bomb move allows the user to become Obscured at the end of its turn.

Hard-Hitting Stance

A Pokemon that has adopted a hard-hitting stance will have its damage-dealing moves increased by 50 percent. Moves such as Double Hit allows you to inflict this hidden status conditions to your own Pokemon.

Fixated

The Pokémon is fixated on the last move it used. This move will deal increased damage while the fixation lasts, but any damage dealt to the fixated Pokémon is also increased.

Using Rollout and Raging Fury allows the Pokemon to enter in a fixated state.

Wild Might

A Pokemon with the Wild Might hidden status condition has all of its stats boosted. In addition, the Pokemon takes reduced damage from status conditions and move effects such as Poison and Jagged Splinters.

All Alpha Pokemon start with this hidden status condition when you engage them in a battle, regardless if they have been caught unawares.

Enraged

Pokemon Legends Arceus - Enraged Hidden Status Condition
A wild Pokemon may become Enraged if you fail to catch it in battle. Once this occurs, all of its offensive stats and defensive stats are raised. A Pokemon in this state is more difficult to capture, so you need to wait for its stats to return to normal or reduce it with Status Moves before catching it.

Jagged Splinters

Pokemon Legends Arceus - Jagged Splinters Hidden Status Condition
A Pokemon inflicted with Jagged Splinters has its HP reduced at the end of every turn. Using a move such as Stealth Rock and Spikes causes the target Pokemon to have Jagged Splinters.

Status Reductions and Increases

Stat Modifiers Do Not Stack

Pokemon Legends Arceus - Stat Modifiers Do Not Stack
Based on our findings, you can reduce or increase a Pokemon's offensive and defensive stats as many as you want but, these effects do not stack.

Our test showed that using Baby-Doll Eyes on the Alpha Lopunny six times did not reduce its offensive stat at a significant amount and had still defeated our Lucario after it used Close Combat two times.

Decreasing Stats Increases Catch Rate

Pokemon Legends Arceus - Decreasing Stats Increases Catch Rate of Wild Pokemon
Our test also showed that decreasing a wild Pokemon's offensive or defensive stats makes them easier to catch.

We attempted to capture the Alpha Lopunny with its defensive stats decreased and its health at the yellow bar, and we were able to catch it four out of six times using one Ultra Ball.
