Choose Pearl Clan in the Main Story

Near the end of the game, you'll get a choice between the two clans of the Region: the Diamond Clan and Pearl Clan. Your choice between the two clans will dictate which Pokemon you'll be facing as the Final Boss.

By choosing the Pearl Clan, you will fight alongside Palkia and face both the Origin and Standard Form of Dialga, a legendary Steel and Dragon type Pokemon.

Complete The Pearl Clan's Treasure Request Post Game

The Pearl Clan's Treasure Steps
1	After completing the main story, go to the Request icon found above the Pearl Settlement at Alabaster Icelands. There, talk to Irida and accept the request and challenge her!
2	Upon completion, Irida will give you the Lustrous Globe as a reward.
3	Afterwards, use the Lustrous Globe to Palkia and transform it into its Origin Form!

Origin Palkia is recommended for a faster Special Attacker

Origin Palkia gains a +20 in Speed while in Origin Forme. This can help it get an extra hit or two that it wouldn't usually have, making it useful throughout your adventure.

Keep in mind that Spacial Rend gets weaker and less accurate when Palkia is in its Origin Forme, which may be troublesome while you're trying to complete Palkia's research tasks. Stick with standard Palkia while you complete its research tasks!

Palkia is one of the deities of the Sinnoh Region. With the power to distort space, it is said that space becomes more stable with its every breath. In the Hisui Region, Palkia is the deity that Irida and the Pearl Clan worship and revere as the Almighty Sinnoh.

Palkia was first introduced in the Generation 4 games. The antagonists of that game, Team Galactic, sought to capture Palkia for themselves to help aid in the creation of a new world.
