Kricketot's Path of Solitude Walkthrough

Mission Objectives

Steps to proceed through Kricketot's Path of Solitude
1	Speak to Gared at the Training Grounds.
2	Talk to Ingo at the Training Grounds with only a Kricketot in your party and select Path of Solitude.
3	Defeat Ingo's Level 60 Gyarados with your Kricketot.
4	Return to Gared to complete the request.

Recommended Kricketot Nature and Moveset


Nature	Modest (↑ Special Attack ↓ Attack)
Level	Lv. 95 or higher
Moveset	Tackle Absorb

It is recommended that Kricketot have a large level advantage over Ingo's Gyarados as our Kricketot will be at a type disadvantage. Kricketot's most useful move for this match is Absorb.

Gyarados is a very challenging matchup for Kricketot. We can even out this matchup by increasing Kricketot's Effort Values for its HP, Defense, and Special Defense up to 10.

Kricketot - How to Get and Location

Heal Damage with Absorb

How to Beat Gyarados
1	Take a hit from Gyarados because it will naturally outspeed Wurmple
2	Retaliate with Absorb
3	Occasionally use Agile-style Absorb to get more turns to use the move or Strong-style Absorb for more health gain.
4	Repeat until Gyarados gets knocked out.

Repeatedly using Absorb will eventually chip down at Gyarados' health. Its Twister will do decent damage, but we can then heal it off with Absorb. This match will be long but Absorb lets us trade damage favorably, which will eventually help us pick up the win over Ingo in this battle.
