How to Get More Pastures

Move Pokemon in Empty Pastures

At the start of the game you will have 8 Pastures in total, which won't be enough to hold multiple Pokemon, especially since some Research Tasks require you to catch several of them.

You can add more Pastures through the following method:

1a Marie Pastures
Speak to Marie near the Pastures in Jubilife Village.
1b Base Camp Pastures Access
Alternatively, speak to the Survey Corps Member in the Base Camp and choose "I want to see my Pokemon" to access the Pastures when you are not in the village.
2 Placing Pokemon in Empty Pasture
Move one Pokemon on the lower right spot to each empty Pasture that is currently available.
3 New Pastures
Close the Pasture menu and open it again. You now have new Pastures available for use!

Progress Through the Game

As you progress through the game, you will unlock additional Pastures to use.

The previous method is better as you can immediately unlock more Pastures, but to unlock the maximum number of Pastures, you need to play and finish the story.

Get 32nd Pasture after beating Arceus

You will be able to have 31 Pastures after doing both methods mentioned above before beating the final Mission of the game. You will unlock the last Pasture available after defeating Arceus in The Deified Pokemon Mission.

How Many Pastures Are There?

32 Pastures

32 Pastures

You can have a total of 32 Pastures to use in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. You can store up to 960 individual Pokemon, which gives you a lot of space especially for those that you need to capture several times.
