Palina is one of the wardens from the Pearl Clan and a dear friend to Irida. She wears a white and pink Pearl Clan uniform and a pair of goggles.
You'll first meet her at Veilstone Cape during the mission The Lordless Island.
Palina is the warden of the previous Lord of the Isles, Arcanine, and its child. The late Lord drowned while saving his Growlithe pup that had been swept to the sea. After his death, Palina took care of his child, and his seat was left vacant since then.
Since the passing of her previous lord, Palina refuses to forcibly raise the late lord's child to be a rightful heir of the vacant throne, which resulted in people questioning her title as a warden. Palina believes that the Growlithe pup has the potential to become the next Lord of the Isles, but after seeing its father's demise, she decides to let the Growlithe grow at its own pace.
When the previous lord was saving his child from drowning, Iscan and his Basculegion came to rescue Palina. Since then, Palina felt an affection towards Iscan which eventually developed into a relationship. Since Palina has a bad reputation as a warden, they kept their relationship a secret to protect Iscan's.
