New Alpha Pokemon

The trailer revealed Hisuian Zoroark, Snorlax, Lucario, and Froslass are Alpha Pokemon. We have previously seen Hisuian Zoroark be aggressive to the player before, but now it is confirmed, as its denoted with the Alpha Pokemon icon when fighting it.
In your party, you can also view which of your Pokemon are Alpha Pokemon through the icon beside gender. It will light up red if the Pokemon is an Alpha Pokemon.
Learn Moves via Menu
From the Pokemon Boxes menu, the above photo shows options on what to do with the Pokemon Hippopotas. The above options translate to: Move, See status, Learn moves, Change name, Marking, Release, and Cancel.
Given that there are no TMs in this game, the meaning behind this function remains to be seen. It could allow you to teach a Pokemon new moves or it could also mean you can look at the learnset of your Pokemon and have it remember a prior move.

As seen in the images above, one of Wurmple's preferred food is seen in the player's inventory in the second image. This would most likely allow you to throw the food at the wild Pokemon to lure it into an easy capture.

Sleep at the Base Camp
You are given the option to sleep at the base camp. The options are to sleep for a short period and to sleep until either morning, noon, or night.
