In Pokemon Legends: Arceus, you can get all three starters without having to trade. This can be done by talking to Professor Laventon post-game, or encountering them at Space-Time Distortions.
After finishing the main story, talk to Captain Cyllene in the Galaxy Hall, then speak to Professor Laventon in his lab. He will give you the rest of the starters you did not pick at the start of the game!
Aside from getting the rest of the starters from Professor Laventon, you can also catch them in in space-time distortions after the credits roll.
How to Find Space-Time Distortions
After clearing the game, you can now return to the areas of each Noble Pokemon and challenge them once more in a timed battle! Hitting certain times scores you different rewards.
If you wish to hone your Pokemon battling skills, you can head to the Training Grounds and talk to Ingo to battle other trainers.
Once the main credits finish rolling, many missions and requests will now be made available to you, including those that take you on the path of catching all legendary Pokemon. You'll need to complete all of them to get to Arceus.

How to Get All Legendary Pokemon
If you have a save file from either Pokemon Brilliant Diamond or Pokemon Shining Pearl, you will be able to get Darkrai by taking on a research request in Jubilife Village after viewing the game's credits.
If you have a save file from either Pokemon Sword or Pokemon Shield, you will be able to get Shaymin (Land Forme) by taking on a research request in Jubilife Village after viewing the game's credits.
You'll have the chance to battle Giratina at Spear Pillar after gathering all the plates across the Hisui region. After winning the battle, Giratina will retreat to Turnback Cave at Cobalt Coastlands where you'll be able to catch the legendary Pokemon.
How to Catch Giratina - Forms and Learnset
After catching all 237 Pokemon, excluding Arceus, Phione, Manaphy, Shaymin, and Darkrai, head to the Temple of Sinnoh and play the Azure Flute to reveal a staircase.
Ascend the stairs and engage the Lv. 70 Arceus in a boss battle.
The Deified Pokemon Walkthrough
The Version 1.1.0 update of Pokemon Legends: Arceus added a new feature to the post game. After completing Request 102 and defeating Arceus, you can battle several powerful Pokemon and earn rewards by sleeping in your bed and entering the Eternal Battle Reverie.
You can get the chance to battle and defeat Arceus on your 50th consecutive battle.
Eternal Battle Reverie Guide and Rewards
Two new challenges were also added in the Daybreak update. Head to the Training Grounds and talk to Ingo after completing Request 102 to participate in either the Path of Solitude or Path of Tenacity challenge.
In the Path of Solitude, you can participate in challenging solo battles against a single powerful opponent. Meanwhile, you can challenge the Path of Tenacity to battle against three story characters from a team of your choosing.
In order to beat the game 100%, you will have to challenge and defeat the Path or Solitude with all 242 Pokemon.
This will reward you a special stamp on the Pokedex page for each Pokemon who has beaten this challenge.
Massive Mass Outbreaks are another feature added during the Daybreak update and are available after completing Request 95 in the post game. Massive Mass Outbreaks are random occurrences when several Mass Outbreaks happen simultaneously across the map.

Seeing or catching a Pokemon in Pokemon Legends: Arceus simply isn't enough to fill your Pokedex.
In order to complete your Pokedex, you must first catch all Pokemon in order to unlock their respective Research Tasks, complete those Research Tasks, and report back to Professor Laventon.
This not only allows you to meet Arceus once you've completed your Pokedex, but raising all Pokedex entries to level 10 will snag you the Shiny Charm, an item that increases the odds of encountering shiny Pokemon!
Catching Pokemon will not complete your Pokedex entries, but it will unlock the Research Tasks for the Pokemon you've caught. If you truly want to complete your Pokedex entries, reaching Research Level 10 to all of your caught Pokemon is a must.
Hisui Pokedex: List of All Pokemon
You must get each Pokemon's Research Level to 10 in order to 100% your Pokedex. This involves doing multiple Research Tasks, ranging from defeating a Pokemon using certain types of moves, observing it as it does a specific move a number of times, to even registering its other forms!
Our Research Tasks guide goes in-depth with the steps on how to complete them, its benefits, and more!
How to Get Research Points Fast and Increase Research Level
There are 28 Unown forms hiding all over the Hisui region. Use the notes found in your Pokedex to locate them! While there are no special rewards for collecting all Unown forms, you will need them to complete the Unown Pokedex Entry.
All Unown Locations: Unown Notes Guide
Since requests are optional missions, you can play through the main story without completing them, but they are required in order to complete your Pokedex and 100% the game as you get items, rewards, and even Pokemon when you complete them!
There are also some requests only unlocked during the post game, such as the ones that lead you to Darkrai, Shaymin, and other Legendary Pokemon.
A request called Eerie Apparitions in the Night can be unlocked after defeating Noble Kleavor. This request requires you to find all of the wisps needed to summon Spiritomb. In order to 100% the game, you'll need to find all of the wisps scattered around Hisui and catch Spiritomb.
After the Daybreak update was released, more post-game requests were added into the game. Some of which are required to unlock many of the new features in the update. Play through the request to unlock and experience many of the updated features, including Massive Mass Outbreaks and the Path of Solitude.
There are a number of clothing options that can be bought and unlocked throughout the course of the story via missions, requests, and the like! If you have requests to finish, now's the time to do them and expand your wardrobe!
Character Customization: How to Change Your Appearance
Old Verses can be found buried all over the Hisui region. These can be found by riding on Ursaluna and sniffing out their locations using its ability!

Another thing to cross off your 100% checklist is to upgrade your Inventory Size to the max!
You will find Bagin, the person in charge of upgrading your Satchel at the Galaxy Expedition HQ in Jubilife Village. Be prepared to save up, as this can get pretty pricey!
