You can hold the ZL Button to switch the camera between first-person and third-person view in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Read on to learn how to enter and exit first-person view, as well as when you can use this new feature.
List of Contents
To enter first-person view, hold the ZL shoulder button on your Nintendo Switch controller. If you want to return to third-person view, simply let go of the button to get out of first-person view.
If you go near wild Pokemon while in the first-person view, the camera will go out of first-person view and instead will lock the camera to the Pokemon. Stay clear of wild Pokemon to avoid changing the camera view.
Using first-person view allows you to survey the area for nearby Pokemon and items. Switching to this view allows you to observe a Pokemon's behavior closer than the third-person view.
In addition, items such as Medicinal Leeks may be difficult to find so switching to first-person view allows you to pinpoint its exact location from a distance.
