Mission Objectives

Steps to proceed through The Lordless Island
1	Travel to Cobalt Coastlands and find Irida, who will challenge you to a two versus one battle. Irida will send out a Lv30 Glaceon and a Lv15 Eevee.
2	Find Warden Palina at Veilstone Cape by following the quest marker.
3	Head over to Aipom Hill to find Iscan.
4	Wait until nightfall before heading out to Deadwood Haunt. Once in the area, capture a Dusclops and bring it back to Iscan. We recommend using Feather Balls so you can catch Dusclops from afar.
5	Head to Gingko Landing with the food and summon Basculegion. From this point onwards, Basculegion can now be called on as a mount!
6	Head to Firespit Island with Basculegion and follow the quest marker until you find the Miss Fortune sisters.
7	All three of the Miss Fortune Sisters will challenge you to a battle in succession. Be sure you have enough items for these fights! You'll fight against a Lv35 Abomasnow, a Lv34 Toxicroak, a Lv34 Rhydon, and a Lv35 Gengar in these consecutive battles.
8	Once you're ready and healed up, approach Palina and quell the Frenzied Noble Hisuian Arcanine. Defeating it will earn you a Flame Plate! ▶ Frenzied Noble Hisuian Arcanine Boss Guide
9	Head back to Jubilife Village and report to Commander Kamado to complete the mission.

Set Up the Coastlands Camp

On your way to Deadwood Haunt to catch a Dusclops, you'll run into Gully, who will ask you to help her find Yorrich. This will start the Request Setting Up the Coastlands Camp. Try to complete this Request immediately since the area where the new camp will be built is far from the main camp.

The Coastlands Camp will make it easier to heal your team and sleep until nightfall in case you don't find or catch a Dusclops before sunrise.

Use Feather Balls on Dusclops

We recommend using Feather Balls for catching the Dusclops needed for the Basculegion food since it's likely that you'll get noticed as soon as you approach it.

Feathered Balls fly straight when thrown so you can basically "snipe" Dusclops while you are in the tall grass.

Utizile Basculegion's Jump

After unlocking Basculegion as a Rideable Pokemon, you will be able to traverse the waters as well as catch Pokemon that you will run into while surfing!

It will be difficult to aim and throw Pokeballs as most of these Pokemon are constantly moving. To make catching Pokemon a lot less challenging, make Basculegion jump by pressing the Y button then while in mid-air, hold ZR to slow down time, giving you an opportunity to adjust your throw.

How to Ride Pokemon: All Rideable Pokemon

Stop Hisuian Arcanine's Flame Pillar Attack

When Hisuian Arcanine starts charging for a powerful attack, throw balms at him until all the orbs above his head are destroyed. This will also stun him for a short while for you to throw more balms or initiate a battle using one of your Pokemon.

Failing to do so will allow him to execute an unavoidable flame pillar attack at the center that will hit the entire arena.

Advance to at least a Third Star Ranking

Following the events of the previous missions, you will be asked to investigate events at the Cobalt Coastlands. You'll need to be at a Third Star Rank or higher in order for Captain Cyllene to allow you to proceed.
