Hisuian Zoroark was first revealed alongside Hisuian Zorua as new Normal/Ghost-type variants of their original Dark-type counterparts. Hisuian Zoroark uses its long fur to project terrifying illusions that can significantly harm its opponents.

While normally aggressive against other Pokemon and humans, it values the bond it forms with those it trusts by protecting them compassionately. It was even shown protecting a Hisuian Zorua from a stranger when it was first teased.

The original form of Zoroark is from the Unova Region. The most prominent difference would be that its original color palette was black and red, to signify its Dark Typing. Its hair also stands up, rather than flows backward.
