Form | Rotom Frost |
---|---|
Nature | Modest (↑ Special Attack ↓ Attack) |
Level | Lv. 75 or higher |
Moveset | Blizzard |
Rotom Frost is the recommended form to take on Garchomp since it can inflict 4x super effective damage with Blizzard. Garchomp will likely use either Twister or Stealth Rock during the battle, which only do minimal damage, but since Stealth Rock inflicts additional damage every turn, it is best to end this battle quickly.
Have a Rotom with a Special Attack increasing nature such as Modest and invest plenty of Effort Levels into Special Attack. Increasing your HP and Defense would also be a good idea if your Rotom is below the recommended level.
How to Catch Rotom - Forms and Learnset
You can easily take down Garchomp with two hits from Blizzard if your Rotom is at the recommended level. However, since Blizzard only has 75% accuracy, it may take a few attempts for Rotom to hit both Blizzards before fainting. If you're lucky, your Rotom might inflict Garchomp with Frostbite and end the battle with only a single Blizzard.
