Pokemon Legends: Arceus has released digitally in all regions with a midnight local time release in each area.
Worldwide Release on January 28, 2022
Adventure into the new Hisui Region, where you'll get to witness the early beginnings of the relationship between humans and Pokemon, discover new Pokemon, and uncover the stories behind the Pokemon world's most iconic legends!

Pokemon Legends Arceus Release Time
Midnight Local Time
Pokemon Legends Arceus released with a midnight local release, just like previous Pokemon games. This means the game was made available in each region when the clock strikes midnight in that area.
Unlike a worldwide release, in which people around the world will all gain access at the same time, a local time release means that players in eastern time zones are able to play the game earlier.
Keep in mind that changing the region or timezone on your device does not affect the time you can play the game, since it is dependent on the timezone of the eShop where the game was purchased.

You can now preorder your copy of Pokemon Legends: Arceus! You can preorder by heading to the Nintendo Eshop or from selected retailers, such as Amazon or Best Buy. Some retails will even have unique preorder bonuses only available at their store.

How to Play the Game Early
Since most retail stores will only start selling their copies once the actual release date of the game arrives, the only reliable way to play the game early is to purchase a digital copy of the game from a Nintendo Eshop with an earlier timezone.
If you were based in the United States and bought a digital copy of the game through the Australian Nintendo Eshop, you can play your game up to 15 hours earlier than others in your region.
What to Do if You Can't Download
No Major Delays in Release Time
With the exception of Pokemon Gold and Silver, no other Pokemon games has ever had a delayed release date and Arceus too released with no delays!
If by 12:00 AM on the scheduled release date, your preordered digital copy of the game does not start up, wait for few minutes for the game to register and communicate with the servers. You'll get in eventually!
