Teach and master moves with your Pokemon in the training grounds by talking to Zisu! Read on to learn how to learn new moves, how to master moves with a seed of mastery, how to exchange grit items, and how to get Grit Rocks in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.

Talk to Zisu at the Training Grounds

After defeating Akari or Rei in a trainer battle, the Training Grounds in Jubilife Village will be made available to you. Head over to talk to Zisu, who'll offer to teach your Pokemon new moves.

Just note that each new move costs Pokedollars, so make sure to save up!

Choose Your Pokemon and Moves to Learn

Pokemon Legends Arceus - Move Tutor Menu

Talking to Zisu brings up a menu with the list of available moves for your Pokemon of choice, displaying all the information you need to know about each move and how much it costs to learn it.

Select which moves you want your Pokemon to learn and press the X button to buy them. Take note that you can buy multiple moves at once, with the total cost displayed at the bottom of the menu.

Moves bought from Zisu will not be automatically included in the Pokemon's current set of moves and will still need to be manually changed.

To do this, press the Up Button to access your party, select the Pokemon, and choose Change Moves. You will be able to see the new moves the Pokemon has learned from Zisu along with those learned upon leveling up.

PLA Zisu Mastering Moves

Zisu can teach your Pokemon to master one of its moves in exchange for one Seed of Mastery.

Head to the Training Grounds in Jubilife Village and talk to Zisu near the entrance. Select the I want to master new moves and choose the Pokemon you want to train. From your Pokemon's moveset, select the move you want to master.

You can exchange grit items with Zisu in the training grounds too! Using grit items on your Pokemon increases their effort levels, thus making them stronger.
