| Steps to proceed through The Researcher of Myths | |

| 1 |  Travel directly to Heights Camp at the Obsidian Fieldlands and talk to Volo about the remaining Plates. |
| 2 |  Fly to Grueling Grove and defeat the Lv60 Alpha Vespiquen. |
| 3 |  Return to any of your base camps and leave for the Ancient Retreat. |
| 4 | 
Talk to Cogita and ask about the remaining Plates to complete the mission. |

Unlisted types deal neutral damage to Vespiquen
Alpha Vespiquen has a plethora of weaknesses, making it easier to defeat or capture. You can use Rock-, Fire-, Electric-, Ice-, or Flying-type moves to take it down. You can also catch the Alpha Pokemon by throwing a Poke Ball when you get it in the red.
