A Token of Gratitude Walkthrough

Mission Objectives

Steps to proceed through A Token of Gratitude
1	Go inside Professor Laventon's Lab and get the request on the blackboard.
2	Talk to Medi at the Fieldlands Camp in Obsidian Fieldlands and she will give you a clue on where to find Shaymin.
3	Head to Floaro Gardens located in the northwest part of Obsidian Fieldlands to get to where Shaymin is.
4	Capture Shaymin to complete the request.

Prepare Pokemon Sword and Shield Save Data

You will need to have a save file from Pokemon Sword or Shield on your Nintendo Switch to receive this request. Load up Pokemon Legends: Arceus on the same account as where the save data is.

You can also get other additional gifts and rewards for having a save file from Pokemon Sword and Shield and other Pokemon games.

Shaymin Location

Shaymin can be found at Floaro Gardens in Obsidian Fieldlands. When you get to that spot, you will find a field of withered flowers and a cutscene will play out before Shaymin appears.

How to Catch Shaymin

You can immediately capture Shaymin after the end of the cutscene. Shaymin is small and hard to find, so you can wait for it to come out of the flowerbed first before trying to capture it or lure it out with berries.

When startled by your presence, Shaymin will attack before quickly escaping, so it is best to sneak up on it and throw a Poke Ball while it is unaware.

If Shaymin escapes your grasp, you can leave Obsidian Fieldlands and come back. Shaymin will respawn at the same spot in the middle of the flowerbed. You can also restart the game from a previous save file to save some time traveling back and forth.

Use Gracidea to Change Shaymin's Form

During the Request, you will receive Gracidea, the item used to change Shaymin from its Land Forme to its Sky Forme.
