How to Catch the Forces of Nature Pokemon

Pokemon Map Weather
Tornadus ImageTornadus Bonechill Wastes in Alabaster Icelands Snowstorms
Landorus ImageLandorus Ramanas Island in Obsidian Fieldlands All Weather
Thundurus ImageThundurus Tranquility Cove in Cobalt Coastlands Thunderstorms

Each Force of Nature Pokemon appears in a different area and are dependent on certain weather conditions. They will have wind barriers surrounding them, which prevents you from catching them outside of battle.

Destroy their Wind Barriers before Entering Battle

Catching Landorus

When they spot the player, they will quickly dart away and attack you with strong gusts of wind, so it best to sneak up on them and catch them unaware. Hit them with a Poke Ball from behind to catch them by surprise and get rid of their wind barrier.

Once the barriers are down, immediately hit them with a Partner Pokemon's Pokeball to start a battle before they put it back up. The hardest among the three to catch is Thundurus since it spawns in the middle of the water.

How to Catch Enamorus

Pokemon Map Weather
Enamorus ImageEnamorus Scarlet Bog in Crimson Mirelands All Weather

After catching the previous three Forces of Nature and bringing their Research Level up to 10, you will be able to catch Enamorus after talking to Cogita. Enamorus is found in Scarlet Bog at Crimson Mirelands. Like the other Forces of Nature, you can catch it by first destroying its wind barrier before entering battle.

Enamorus is by far the most difficult of four to catch because it is easily alerted and all the bog in the area slows the player down. In addition, its attacks also cause confusion on the player. The best way to get rid of this is to quickly switch to your mount when you are confused.

The Forces of Nature Pokemon Respawn when Defeated

While the request is active, the Forces of Nature Pokemon will respawn if you accidentally cause it to faint in battle. Leave the current area and return to Jubilife Village to reset the map. When you return, the Pokemon should respawn in the same spot.

How to Complete their Pokedex Entries

The easiest way to complete their Pokedex entries is by catching each of the Forces of Nature and using them in battle against weaker Pokemon. Have them use their individual signature moves in Agile Style. Seeing them do this three times should increase their Research Levels to 10.

Pokemon Signature Move
Tornadus Bleakwind Storm
Landorus Sandsear Storm
Thundurus Wildbolt Storm
Enamorus Springtide Storm

Use the Reveal Glass to Change Their Forms

Get Reveal Glass from Cogita

After catching Enamorus and showing it to Cogita, she will give you a Reveal Glass, which you can use to change the Forces of Nature Pokemon into their Therian Formes. It is best to change them into the form that best fits their playstyle.

Ok, Smoke Bombs are EXTREMELY helpful and let you get close up to throw a stun item at them to let you battle them, it also keeps them from attacking you.
