Volo
Pokemon Legends Arceus Volo
Clan / Organization Ginkgo Guild
Role Merchant
Description Volo, one of the Ginkgo Guild’s merchants, is often to be found wandering the Hisui region. He has a tendency to cross paths with you no matter where you travel.

Volo is a merchant from the Ginkgo Guild. He dons blue and yellow clothing similar to other Ginkgo Guild members. He's got a boundless sense of curiosity and is always interested in unusual finds and unusual people.

He seems to like wandering about in the Hisui region. Chances are you'll likely cross paths with him wherever you go.

Volo In Game.png

Just like their leader, Ginter, Volo sells items that you can use in your journey. These items are probably the ones he finds in his adventure! If you need items for crafting, he's your guy.

Cynthia Resemblance

BDSP - Champion Cynthia.png

Fans speculate that Volo is actually the ancestor of Cynthia - the modern-day Sinnoh's champion. Both characters have golden hair with bangs swept to the side that cover one of their eyes.

Additionally, both Cynthia and Volo seem to have a knack for discovering things. Volo travels around Hisui to learn more about it, while Cynthia was shown to be interested in mythology and Sinnoh's history.

There is a chance that Volo might show interest in Pokemon battles later on in the game though. He might even turn out to be a strong Pokemon trainer just like Cynthia!

Unsurprisingly, Volo's team consists of powerful Pokemon with diverse types. In addition to grinding levels up to at least lv70, you should also bring strong Fairy, Rock, and Ground-type moves, as these are enough to exploit his entire team's weaknesses.

Where Does Volo Go?

Volt Stops Showing Up After His Battle

Although Volo plays an integral role in the main story, especially during the Mission Seeking the Remaining Plates, his sudden disappearance after the final battle with him has left many fans wondering about his whereabouts. Unfortunately, once you've beaten Volo, he stops appearing in the game.

Can You Rematch Volo?

Volo Cannot Be Rematched

Unlike other trainers in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, you are unable to challenge Volo to a rematch, so savor the battle while it lasts!
