Submit your Survey Reports to Professor Laventon to receive money and Research Points, and level up to the next rank. Read on to find out the criteria and rewards for Pokemon caught and Pokedex progress reports in Pokemon Legends: Arceus!

Survey Report Criteria and Rewards

Pokemon Caught

After submitting your Survey Report, you will receive funds based on the Pokemon you have caught during your expedition.

The amount of money you receive will vary depending on the Pokemon you caught and how you caught them. Catching new species of Pokemon will likely result in more funds and catching them with a back strike will also likely earn you more money.

Criteria for Pokemon Caught
Total Pokemon Caught
Number of Pokemon caught in one report
Different Pokemon species caught
Pokemon caught for the first time
Pokemon caught with a back strike
Alpha Pokemon caught

Number of Pokemon caught in one report maxes out at 30

You will get different bonuses if you catch several Pokemon before handing out your report to Professor Laventon. The bonuses start from 10, 20, and will be maxed out on 30 Pokemon caught.

Pokedex Progress Report

Once you have received your funds from the professor, he will update your Pokedex based on the new data you were able to collect. The updates to your Pokedex will be calculated into Research Points, which level you up to the next rank.

The amount of points you receive will depend on the number of updates you made to the Pokedex. Adding new entries and completing previous entries will likely earn you the most research points.

Pokemon Legends Arceus Submit Survey Report

You can submit your survey report to Professor Laventon at the Base Camp once you are finished traversing through an area. After submiting your report to the professor you will receive your rewards and likely return to Jubilife Village.

But what are the different numbers you have to hit to get the reward bonuses. For example you get an extra reward if you catch at least 10 Pokémon. What are the next numbers? I think it’s 20 but then I don’t think it’s 30, it might be 40?
