Garchomp - How to Get and Location, Evolution, and Research Tasks
Garchomp benefits most from the Adamant Nature. The increase in Attack allows Garchomp to better utilize its physical offense. Since most of its attacks are physical, it won't mind the drop in Special Attack.
While a speed increasing nature is often considered for battles in mainline Pokemon games, it doesn't play as big of a factor in Legends: Arceus due to every Pokemon's access to the Agile and Strong Styles. Make up for lower speed by planning around your turn order.
Agile and Strong Styles: How to Master Moves
Outrage and Bulldoze are the best STAB moves for Garchomp with reliable power, accuracy, and PP. Outrage also becomes less risky to use due to not locking the user into only that move. Bulldoze may not have the highest base power, but it can make up for it by using it in Strong Style. Dragon Claw is an option if you'd rather have a 100% accurate move in exchange for less damage.
Iron Head offers good coverage by allowing it to hit Fairy-types. Although it isn't recommended to keep Garchomp in against Fairy-types, it at least gives him something to fight back with in a pinch.
This moveset also proves useful against the most difficult battles in the game. Garchomp's Bulldoze should make quick work of Volo's Arcanine and Lucario. Shadow Claw also gives Garchomp a super-effective, high critical-rate move to use against Giratina. Just be sure to keep it healthy and away from Volo's Togekiss.
