Take advantage of respawning Pokemon to catch multiple rare or alpha Pokemon, and respawning items to farm crafting materials in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Read on to learn how to make Pokemon and items respawn and the benefits of respawning them.

When you finish an expedition, return to professor Laventon and start it again. Doing this will make all Pokemon that you captured during the expedition respawn in the field. If you run out of Pokemon to capture, go back to professor Laventon and go to the expedition again.
Another way to make Pokemon respawn is to progress the time of day. If a Pokemon you want to catch does not appear in the area, you can go to the nearest base camp and rest for the whole day. You can do this many times to make the Pokemon spawn. Take note that there are Pokemon that only appear at a specific time of day, so plan accordingly before you rest!
If you fail to capture a certain Pokemon, it will reappear after a certain period of time. You can go to a different area for a while, then return once time has passed. If you fail to capture a rare Pokemon, it's a good idea to wait for it to reappear over time!
Because the Pokemon always spawns at the same location, you can expect to find it again when you return to it. Therefore, once you know where to find it, you can collect the same Pokemon by making it respawn many times. This is especially effective for capturing rare Pokemon that appear in small numbers.
This is also a good way to quickly progress a Pokemon's Research Task and complete the Pokedex!

Alpha Pokemon are hard to find, so taking advantage of Pokemon respawn gives you the chance to find one in the field. Since they respawn, you can catch the same Alpha Pokemon multiple times!

Crafting materials that you pick up in the map will respawn if you go back to Jubilife Village and return to the same map again.
Tumblestone ores, Berry and Apricorn trees, as well as crops and items on the ground will respawn on the same location once you return from the village.
List of All Crafting Materials
As you explore the Hisui region you will craft a lot of items, and you may eventually run out of materials that you need to make items.
If you are running out of resources, you can simply go into maps, look around for materials, head back to the village and repeat until you have enough items.
If you do not catch any Pokemon, you do not have to report anything to Professor Laventon and can immediately leave the map, which makes the material farming process faster.
If you are planning for a long expedition and do not plan on leaving the map, items can respawn on their locations after about 45 minutes.
How to Get All Crafting Recipes
Tumblestone ores have a chance to contain Stardust, which sells for ₽1000 at shops. You may encounter these sparkling ores everytime the map respawns new items after going back to the village.
Stardust can also be used to craft Star Pieces, which can be sold at an even higher price!
