PLA Request 102 Daybreak

In order to unlock many of the features available in the Version 1.1.0 update of Pokemon Legends Arceus, you will need to complete a series of requests. The last request that you need to complete is Request 102: Daybreak. Once this request is cleared, you can talk to Ingo at the Training Grounds to challenge the Path of Tenacity.

How to Challenge the Path of Tenacity

Talk to Ingo at the Training Grounds

PLA Path of Tenacity Talk to Igno

To start a Path of Tenacity battle, you will need to talk to Ingo at the Training Grounds. You will have the option to either have a Regular Battle, Path of Solitude, or Path of Tenacity. Before selecting Path of Tenacity, make sure all your party members are prepared and in place.

Choose a Team to Battle Against

PLA Path of Tenacity Choose a Team

In the Path of Tenacity challenge, you will need to battle against three members of your chosen team, either Galaxy Team, Diamond Clan, or Pearl Clan. The three members you battle against will always remain the same and are not randomized.

The battles will happen consecutively, so you will not have the chance to heal or stock up on items mid-challenge. Train your Pokemon and prepare all the necessary items beforehand. You are allowed to have up to a complete party of 6 during the challenge.

How to Unlock the Diamond and Pearl Clan Battles

Irida Battle Request 107

The Diamond and Pearl Clan battles in the Path of Tenacity are not unlocked until you have completed Adaman and Irida's requests to battle the Origin Formes of their respective Legendary Pokemon.

To unlock the Diamond Clan, you'll first need to complete Request 106: Adaman's Hope, and to unlock the Pearl Clan, you'll need to complete Request 107: Irida's Wish.

Path of Tenacity Starting Teams

PLA Path of Tenacity Diamond Clan

During your first battle against a specific team, each member will have a party of two or three Pokemon with levels ranging from 60 to 65 for their primary party members. However, their party Pokemon change and their levels increase after each time you beat them.

Unlike with the Diamond and Pearl Clans, battles against Galaxy Team members follow the traditional structure of battles where you defeat each party Pokemon one after another. During battles with the Diamond and Pearl Clan, you will need to battle all their Pokemon simultaneously.
