How to Catch Small Pokemon

2
Once you're close enough, throw your Pokeball for a backstrike to catch it!

Use Long Range Pokeballs

It's a good idea to use long range Pokeballs such as Feather Balls since they travel longer than most Pokeballs.

This allows you to keep an ample distance from smaller and more flighty Pokemon, while still having the accuracy to snipe them from afar.

How to Catch Large Pokemon

1
Look for the Pokemon and start sneaking up behind it, making sure to keep ample distance so it doesn't notice you.
2
Once you're close enough, throw your Pokeball for a backstrike to catch it!
Note: Megaton and Gigaton Balls have lower range, so make sure to sneak closer to the Pokemon so that the Pokeball lands!

Use Heavy Balls

Larger Pokemon, especially Alpha Pokemon, are more difficult to catch and can even break out of Ultra Balls!

Heavy Balls and its upgrades are the best Pokeballs to use as they are better at catching Pokemon you've backstriked!
