Unlock Condition

To unlock this request, you first need to complete a series of requests in the Version 1.1.0 update of Pokemon Legends: Arceus. The final request in the series is Request 102: Daybreak. Once it is completed, you can talk to Gared at the Training Grounds to receive this and a variety of other requests.

Mission Objectives

Recommended Bastiodon Nature and Moveset

Nature	Any Defense increasing nature
Level	Lv. 60 or higher
Moveset	Power Shift Iron Head

The move Power Shift switches Bastiodon's defensive and offensive stats in battle. Since Bastiodon will be using its Defense stat to attack, it is best to have a Bastiodon with a Defense increasing nature like Relaxed or Bold. Increasing Bastiodon's Effort Levels in Defense will also help in battle.

Though any Physical attacking move will do well, we recommend Iron Head due to its decent power, high accuracy, and lack of recoil damage.

Teach Bastiodon Power Shift at the Training Grounds

The request descriptions recommends that you beat this challenge by swapping Bastiodon's offensive and defensive stats. You can do this by teaching it the move Power Shift at the Training Grounds for ₽1000. You can also use a Seed of Mastery to master the move, but it is not necessary to beat Blissey.

Use Power Shift and Attack Blissey with Iron Head

How to Beat Blissey
1	Use Power Shift to switch your offensive and defensive stats
2	Repeatedly use Iron Head to whittle down Blissey's health
3	When Bastiodon's stats return to normal, use Power Shift again and continue attacking Blissey

Blissey will continuously use Draining Kiss and Soft-Boiled to recover its health during the battle. By using Power Shift, Bastiodon will gain enough Attack to inflict more damage to Blissey than it can recover. Use Iron Head repeatedly to whittle down its health and use Power Shift again when your stats return to normal.

Though it may not always be successful at the first attempt, A level 60 Bastidon will eventually take out Blissey. If you are still having trouble, investing a few Effort Levels into Defense should do the trick.
