How to Raise Friendship

Keep the Pokemon in your Party

PLA - Keep Pokemon in Party.png
Bringing a Pokemon to your excursions and keeping it safe and healthy is the easiest way to increase your Friendship with it, signifying your reliance and trust among one another.

Reason for Friendship Increase

What Increases Friendship?
In-game time passing? No
Number of battles fought? No
Frequent visits to the village? No
EXP gained? Yes

A Pokemon's Friendship may increase slower than some, so there will be chances wherein you'd have to bring one with you for a longer period of time.

Use the Pokemon to Collect Materials

Consistently using the Pokemon to gather materials from trees and ores is another method for building a stronger bond with your Pokemon, as it shows your trust to the Pokemon to lend their aid.

However, it is worth noting that some Pokemon's Friendship grow faster when it collects materials from trees, while others' Friendship increases when it collects from ores.
