Set Moves to Agile Style

Your encounter against Melli is a three-vs-one Pokemon battle. What this means is that Melli's team will have more turns against your Pokemon, so it's recommended that you set your moves to Agile Style to lessen the chances of his turns to stack further.

Melli's team consists of Poison type Pokemon, so it's recommended to take his team down before they could spam your Pokemon with Poison type moves.

Take Down Zubat First

Make defeating Zubat a priority to prevent it from making your Pokemon drowsy with its Hypnosis move.

You can send out a Pokemon with a high Speed stat to take the Zubat down first, then swap it out afterwards with a Ground type Pokemon.

Use Ground Type Moves Against Skuntank

Melli's Skuntank is the most powerful Pokemon in his team and could easily deal strong damage against yours. Take advantage of Skunktank's weakness to Ground type moves to quickly eliminate Melli's ace!

Take Down Skorupi Last

After taking down both Zubat and Skuntank, finish off Melli's final Pokemon by taking advantage of its weaknesses to Fire, Flying, Psychic, and Rock type moves!

Best Pokemon to Beat Warden Melli

Rock and Ground Type Pokemon

Warden Melli's strongest Pokemon Skuntank is weak to Ground type moves, while his other two Pokemon have multiple weaknesses, but both are vulnerable to Rock type moves.

It is recommended to use either Rhydon or Onix as they both specialize in Ground and Rock type moves.

By level 34, the two Pokemon would have already learned Stealth Rock and High Horsepower which would prove to be effective against Melli's team.
