Roserade's Path of Solitude Walkthrough

Mission Objectives

Steps to proceed through Roserade's Path of Solitude
1 Speak to Gared at the Training Grounds
2 Talk to Ingo at the Training Grounds with only a Roserade in your party and select Path of Solitude
3 Defeat Ingo's Level 80 Staraptor with your Roserade
4 Return to Gared to complete the request

Recommended Roserade Nature and Moveset

Pokemon Legends Arceus - Roserade
Nature Timid (↑ Speed ↓ Attack)
Level Lv. 75 or higher
Moveset Stun Spore
Venoshock

Though the Request description mentions that Roserade sieze its chance when its opponent comes to roost, you shouldn't wait for it to use Roost to attack. Instead, we recommend paralyzing the opponent with Stune Spore to increase the damage of Venoshock and prevent Staraptor from healing.

Staraptor attacks with both physical and special attacks, and may also naturally outspeed your Roserade. Make sure that it can withstand at least one Air Slash or Giga Impact by increasing the Effort Values of its HP, Defense, and Special Defense up to 10.

Paralyze Staraptor and Use Venoshock

How to Beat Staraptor
1 Withstand an Air Slash from Staraptor
2 Paralyze Staraptor with Stun Spore
3 Use Strong Style Venoshock to defeat Staraptor

After Roserade paralyzes Staraptor with Stun Spore, it should have enough Action Speed to follow up with a Strong Style Venoshock in the same turn. If you've leveled up your Roserade enough, the move should take down or severly damage Staraptor.

If it does survive your attack, there's still a chance you can win if Staraptor can't move the next turn due to paralysis.
