After visiting the Training Grounds for the first time and battling against Akari/Rei during the Request from Mai Mission, head to Obsidian Fieldlands and talk to Morel near the Fieldlands Camp.

| 1 | Look for Morel near the Base Camp at Obsidian Fieldlands and accept his request. |
| 2 | Pick up Springy Mushrooms on the field or from Pokemon. |
| 3 | Hand over one Springy Mushroom to Morel to complete the request. |

You can find a Springy Mushroom growing under a tree at Nature's Pantry to in the center island of Obsidian Fieldlands. This mushroom will regrow each time you exit and enter the area.
 Paras

Paras will also somtimes drop a Springy Mushroom upon capture or defeat. You can find Paras at the area around Nature's Pantry. Be aware that the more powerful Parasect can also be found in the northern part of the area.
