| Steps to proceed through The Plate of the Lakes | |

| 1 |  Travel to the Obsidian Fieldlands and fly to Lake Verity. Go inside the cave and capture the Lv70 Mesprit. |
| 2 |  Next, travel to the Crimson Mirelands to reach Lake of Valor. Enter the cave and capture the Lv70 Azelf. |
| 3 |  Lastly, travel to the Alabaster Icelands and head straight to Lake of Acuity. Enter the cave and capture the Lv70 Uxie. |
| 4 | After capturing the Lake Trio, you will receive the Draco Plate and complete the mission. |

The Plate of the Lakes Tips and Strategies
Stun the Lake Pokemon with Balls of Mud or Spoiled Apricorns
Before going to any of the lakes, we recommend getting plenty of Balls of Mud and Spoiled Apricorns to throw at the lake Pokemon. When you see them about to attack, immediately dodge and throw the items their way. It takes about 5 Balls of Mud or Spoiled Apricorn to stun them.
Prepare Plenty of Ultra Balls or Gigaton Balls
Successfully stunning each member of the lake trio will give you a brief window of opportunity to throw a Poke Ball at it and catch it. Once it's stunned, aim for its back to perform a Back Strike and throw a Gigaton Ball or an Ultra Ball at it. This may take you a few tries so be sure to prepare plenty of Ultra Balls and Gigaton Balls.
Engaging Them in a Battle is Not Necessary
While engaging the Legendary trio in a battle to lower its health seems like a good idea, it is not recommended because these legendary Pokemon are strong and the battles can become very tough.
Save yourself the trouble of having to build a team just to catch the legendary Pokemon. It is much easier to catch it straight with Gigaton Balls or Ultra Balls once you have stunned them.

At the end of The Researcher of Myths, you'll have to return to Cogita at the Ancient Retreat to obtain information regarding the remaining Plates. One of the options that you can pick is about the Lake Trio and the Plate in their possession.
